As a Truck Dispatcher at Gora International , you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of trucks, drivers, and shipments to meet demands and delivery schedules. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Route Planning: Efficiently plan and optimize truck routes to ensure timely deliveries while minimizing fuel costs and transit times.
- Driver Assignments: Assign drivers to specific routes and shipments, considering driver availability, experience, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Communication: Maintain constant communication with drivers to provide updates, directions, and address any issues or delays that may arise during transit.
- Customer Service: Act as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, providing shipment status updates, and resolving any service-related concerns promptly.
- Documentation: Ensure accurate record-keeping of dispatch activities, including maintaining shipment records, driver logs, and compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and resolve operational issues and challenges that may impact delivery schedules or driver performance.
- Compliance: Stay current with all relevant regulations and safety standards governing the transportation industry and ensure that drivers and shipments adhere to these requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
- Fresh or experienced both can apply.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Customer-centric attitude.
- Must be comfortable with the night shift.
- Experienced Persons are required.
