We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead and manage healthcare-related projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of healthcare projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with regulatory standards. The Project Manager will collaborate with various stakeholders, including clinical teams, IT departments, and external vendors, to drive the successful implementation of initiatives in the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Coordination:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timeline, resources, and budget.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to define project objectives and deliverables.
  • Establish clear project milestones and performance metrics to track progress.
  • Organize project kick-off meetings and provide guidance on project expectations.

Project Execution & Delivery:

  • Manage and lead cross-functional project teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of healthcare projects.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to accommodate changes or challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare industry regulations (HIPAA, HITECH, etc.) and internal standards.

Stakeholder Communication & Reporting:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clinical staff, IT teams, external partners, and leadership.
  • Prepare and deliver regular status updates, including progress reports, risk assessments, and project timelines to senior leadership.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Budget & Resource Management:

  • Oversee the project budget, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and within budget constraints.
  • Track project expenditures and ensure adherence to financial guidelines.
  • Identify and manage resource requirements, including personnel, technology, and equipment.

Process Improvement & Compliance:

  • Lead initiatives to streamline healthcare operations and improve workflow efficiencies.
  • Ensure project activities comply with healthcare industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations and implement lessons learned to improve future project management processes.

Quality Control & Risk Management:

  • Monitor project deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
  • Identify and manage risks, developing contingency plans as necessary to mitigate potential project disruptions.
  • Resolve conflicts and issues in a timely manner to keep projects on track.

Qualifications:

Education & Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred.
  • Healthcare-related certifications (such as Lean Six Sigma, Agile, etc.) are a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the healthcare industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale healthcare projects, including system implementations, process improvements, or facility upgrades.
  • Experience working with healthcare IT systems (EHR, EMR, etc.) and understanding of healthcare regulations (HIPAA, HITECH, etc.) is a plus.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and handle changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana, etc.).
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry standards, best practices, and regulations.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems like Epic, Cerner, or other clinical software platforms.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare delivery processes and patient care workflows.
  • Familiarity with healthcare reimbursement systems, coding, and clinical outcomes.

Working Conditions:

  • The role requires 24/7 availability with two 12-hour shifts:
  • Morning shift: 12 hours
  • Evening shift: 12 hours
  • Out of the 12 hours, 9 hours are regular shift hours, and 3 additional paid hours
  • Shift rotation: Shifts will rotate periodically.
  • Employees will have 1 day off per week as per the shift schedule.
  • Candidates must be comfortable working in a dynamic and flexible environment to ensure system availability and performance.
