Audit Officer

Gadoon Textile seeks a dedicated Audit Officer to join our team. This role requires an individual with strong analytical skills and a keen attention to detail to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. The Audit Officer will play a critical role in identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the overall efficiency of our finance and operational processes. This position does not involve managing a team, allowing for a focus on executing audits and reporting their findings effectively. As an Audit Officer, you will be responsible for preparing and conducting audits across various departments, analyzing financial statements, and ensuring accuracy and compliance. You will work closely with management to evaluate risk and make recommendations for corrective actions. Strong analytical abilities are essential, as you will need to interpret complex data and produce clear, actionable reports for stakeholders at all levels.
Responsibilities

Conduct scheduled audits of financial and operational processes to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
Assess the efficiency and effectiveness of internal controls and make recommendations for improvements.
Prepare detailed audit reports that summarize findings, risks identified, and suggested actions for enhancements.
Review financial statements and documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
Collaborate with various departments to gather information and facilitate the audit process.
Identify potential areas of risk and suggest strategies to minimize them.
Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information encountered during the audit.
Stay updated on changes in regulations and audit practices to ensure compliance.
Provide support in the development of audit processes and best practices.
Assist in training staff on auditing techniques and compliance requirements, if necessary.
