Scope of Work:

  • Conduct a fundraising Needs Assessment and analyze the organization’s current fundraising capacity.
  • Map and list the potential donors and funding opportunities.
  • Develop the concept notes and proposals in consultation with FLI staff and submit them to relevant donors.
  • Assist the Organization in building relationships with key stakeholders and donors.
  • Provide training to enhance the capacity of FLI relevant staff on fundraising best practices.

Deliverables:

  • Fundraising Needs Assessment Document.
  • Potential donor’s database.
  • 03 Fundraising materials (Concept notes, proposals).
  • Fundraising Strategy document.
  • Training of FLI-relevant staff on fundraising best practices.
  • Final Report

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in fundraising for international development.
  • Proven experience in Project development and fundraising management.
  • Strong understanding of fundraising principles and best practices.
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience working with non-profit organizations.

Duration: 6 months (15 July – 15 January 2025), extendable based on performance and organizational needs.

Note: The specific dates of delivery for each deliverable will be agreed upon at the beginning of the consultancy, taking into account the overall timeline and milestones.

The consultant will handle all information and data collected during the consultancy with the utmost confidentiality, using it solely for its intended purposes.
