1. Supporting and maintaining the Oracle Portal and Oracle Apex code configurations and integration points to other SASSA Solutions
  2. Support and maintain the Oracle Apex code
  3. Configure new enhancements identified for the Oracle Portal and Oracle Apex code or integration points with other SASSA solutions.
  4. Maintaining the Oracle Portal and Oracle Apex code Technical Specifications
  5. Manage the source control for the Oracle Apex code
  6. Collaboration with Development and other Support Team members to ensure integration between other SASSA solutions
  7. Collaborate with Solutions Architect on Oracle Portal patches and new releases
  8. Collaborate with Solutions Architect to ensure Oracle Portal and Oracle Apex code designs are documented and maintained
  9. Performance Monitoring and scalability - Monitor the Oracle Portal performance and communicate scalability requirements and proposals to the Solutions Architect and SASSA ICT.
  10. Administrative - Update Oracle Portal and Oracle Apex code-related Change Requests on the Change Request Register and Incident Management platform
  11. Communicate enhancements to the Functional team for updating training material and preparation for training and change management
  12. Draft Alpha Testing Test Cases and communicate test requirements
  13. Disaster Recovery Planning - Develop and test disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.

New Development:

  1. Collaborate with Project Manager, Functional Analyst, and Solutions Architect on new development to formulate project plans, scope, designs and testing requirements.
  2. Configure new solutions based on Solution Design Specifications and document technical specifications associated to the design.
  3. Draft Alpha Testing Test Cases and communicate test requirements
  4. Assist in testing a new solution
  5. Maintaining configuration and source code
  6. Provide inputs into performance and scalability and configure if required
  7. Communicate infrastructure, security, and other dependencies for the new solution
