Qualifications:
- Excellent design thinking and visual design skills
- Strong portfolio of UX/UI design projects
- Ability to create Prototyping, wireframing, user flows, mockups
- Excellent communicator able to work with PM and Engineering
- Experience with Figma and other related tools
- Ability to animate mockups (preferred)
- Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Working as a UX/UI Designer you will join a collaborative team, performing design and development activities for web-based user interface applications and delivering high-quality software iteratively within an Agile environment. You'll follow best development practices with quality in delivery at the heart of everything we do; utilising a pipeline delivery model for automation through to deployment.
Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize and implement creative ideas for client websites, as well as visual elements that are in line with the client's branding.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, personas, and user journeys
- Ability to quickly turn ideas and concepts into workable interface mockups and prototypes
- Create UI Inventory for the Design system and establish rules and principles for the Design System
- Understand and create sitemaps to visualize the structure of a website.
- Prepare design plans and present the website structure
- Develop and maintain design standards and guidelines, ensuring consistency across all devices.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and analysis to inform design decisions and optimize user experiences.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging design trends, tools, and technologies
- Help plan and conduct client discovery sessions
- Communicate and present design solutions to the client
An ideal candidate should have the following soft skills
- Deep understanding of UX principles
- Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and determine a plan that will ensure they are met or exceeded
- General design curiosity and a passion for making great things
- Experience in responsive designing marketing and e-commerce websites
- Strong people skills, especially collaborating with clients
- Comfortable working in a wide range of industries, clients, and project sizes
- General understanding of modern productivity tools (Slack, email, Google Docs, etc)
- A people person who is willing to provide help and support to team members
- Willing to take ownership of projects and feel proud of completing them within project constraints.
