Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager in business Development, to lead and supervise a team within our Financial Markets division. You will play a key role in driving new business growth, nurturing leads, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Supervision: 

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to a team of Business Development Representatives.
  • Motivate and coach team members to achieve individual and team goals.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team environment.

Business Development: 

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned market segment.
  • Qualify and nurture leads through the sales funnel.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve targets.
  • Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
  • Negotiate and close deals.

Customer Service:

  • Ensure exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and address their needs and concerns.
  • Manage and resolve customer inquiries and complaints.

Market Expertise: 

  • Maintain a deep understanding of financial markets, including stocks, gold, and crude oil.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and developments.
  • Analyze market data to identify opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in business development or a similar role, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving business objectives.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Disciplined, organized, and results-oriented.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
