We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Logistics Operations Specialist to join our dynamic trucking company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing dispatch operations, optimizing routes, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Locate and book top-rated loads using DAT, Direct Freight, Dedicated Routes.
Coordinate and manage daily dispatch operations to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods.
Optimize routing and scheduling to minimize costs and maximize productivity.
Monitor and track shipments, providing real-time updates to customers and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations and safety standards.
Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
Utilize logistics software to plan and manage transportation activities.
Maintain accurate records of shipments, schedules, and driver logs.
Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic solutions.
Collaborate with the fleet management team to ensure vehicle maintenance and readiness.
Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field.
Proficiency with logistics software and GPS systems.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work well under pressure and handle high-stress situations.
Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance requirements.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
