Shopify Developer / Designer

We seek a skilled and experienced Shopify Developer to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a Shopify Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our e-commerce platform on Shopify. Your primary focus will be creating exceptional online shopping experiences, optimizing performance, implementing custom features and functionalities, and ensuring seamless functionality and user experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to create visually appealing and user-friendly online stores on the Shopify platform.
Customize and configure Shopify themes and templates to meet specific client requirements and project needs.
Develop custom Shopify apps and integrations using Shopify’s APIs and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Integrate third-party apps and plugins into the Shopify platform to enhance its functionality.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Shopify functionality, third-party integrations, and data management.
Optimize website performance, including page load speed, responsiveness, and overall site speed.
Stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify updates, trends, and best practices, suggesting improvements to enhance the online shopping experience.
Collaborate with the team to plan and execute A/B testing and conversion rate optimization strategies.
Provide technical guidance and support to other team members and stakeholders.

Candidate should have:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as a Shopify Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing past Shopify projects.
Proficiency in web development languages and technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, and Liquid templates.
Extensive knowledge of the Shopify platform, including theme development, app development, and API integrations.
Experience with responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
Familiarity with SEO best practices and website optimization techniques.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of other e-commerce platforms and frameworks (e.g., Magento, WooCommerce) is a plus.
