We are seeking a skilled and passionate Solar Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong sales acumen to promote and sell our solar solutions. This role involves understanding customer needs, designing tailored solar systems, and providing technical support throughout the sales process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities by generating leads and building relationships with potential clients.
  • Conduct site assessments and analyze customer energy needs to design optimal solar power systems.
  • Prepare and present technical proposals and quotations to prospective clients.
  • Explain the benefits and technical aspects of solar energy systems to customers, addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and project management teams to ensure accurate system design and successful project execution.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and competitive landscape to provide the best solutions to customers.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Provide post-sale technical support and customer service to ensure client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or related field) or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in sales engineering, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of solar energy systems, including design, installation, and maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to achieve sales targets and grow the business.
  • Proficient in using CRM software, AutoCAD, and other design tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
