You will be responsible for overseeing engineering operations, ensuring optimal performance of mechanical and electrical systems, and managing the inventory of spare parts and equipment in the store.
Key Responsibilities:
Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance:·
- Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Oversee the repair and replacement of faulty machinery or components.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for specialized repairs or upgrades.
Engineering Support:
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and systems.
- Provide technical support to the engineering team on mechanical and electrical projects.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation for maintenance activities and equipment performance.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Experience:·
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance, with additional experience in inventory or store management.·
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair techniques.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and tools.
Skills:
- Certification in maintenance or inventory management is an advantage.
- Familiarity with industry safety standards and protocols.
- Hands-on experience with industrial machinery and electrical equipment.
Working Conditions
- Typically works in an engineering store or warehouse environment.
- May require lifting and moving materials of varying weights and sizes.
- Adherence to safety protocols is essential.
