Assistant Manager Accounts

COMSATS Internet Services (CIS), Pakistan's pioneer ISP, invites applications from qualified and experienced candidates, for appointment on contract basis against the post of Assistant Manager (Accounts) for Faisalabad Office.

Details of the position and placement is as under.
Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
Reconciles general and subsidiary bank accounts by gathering and balancing information.
Corrects errors by posting adjusting journal entries.
Maintains general ledger accounts by reconciling accounts receivable detail and controlling accounts and accounts payable ledgers; preparing fixed asset depreciation and accruals.
Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Management of petty cash transactions.
Reconciliation of direct debits and finance accounts.
Ensuring all payments amounts & records are accurate.
Preparation of statutory accounts.
Working with journals, sales & purchase ledgers and Reconciling invoices and identifying discrepancies.
Process reimbursement forms.
Prepare bank deposits.
Enter financial transactions into internal databases.
Check spreadsheets for accuracy.
Review and file payroll documents.
Participate in quarterly and annual audits.
