The Procurement Manager for our construction and import of IT equipment business is responsible for overseeing the procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, equipment, and services required for construction projects. The successful candidate will collaborate with various departments, suppliers, and contractors to develop and implement effective procurement strategies, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement procurement strategies for site constructions and IT equipment, software, and services aligned with the organization's goals and project requirements.
  2. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors based on their capabilities, quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  3. Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and product availability.
  4. Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve favorable pricing and contractual agreements.
  5. Collaborate with the project management team to understand project requirements, timelines, and specifications.
  6. Manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of project needs.
  7. Review and analyse purchase requisitions, verify specifications, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  8. Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular performance evaluations to maintain high-quality standards.
  9. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering effective communication and resolving any issues that may arise.
  10. Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and company policies throughout the procurement process.
  11. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast material and equipment needs for upcoming projects.
  12. Monitor and control procurement budgets, tracking expenses and identifying areas for cost reduction.
