We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects by effectively managing costs, budgets, and resources. Your expertise in cost estimation, contract negotiation, and financial management will contribute to the overall success of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cost Estimation
Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment costs.
Analyze project specifications and drawings to identify potential cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions.
Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
2. Quantity Takeoffs:
Perform accurate quantity takeoffs from construction drawings and specifications to facilitate cost analysis and procurement processes.
Oversee Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) for reinforcement steel.
3. Reporting:
Prepare and present regular reports to project stakeholders on cost performance,
financial forecasts, and any potential issues or risks. Prepare progress reports and cost forecasts.
4. Site Visits:
Conduct site visits to assess progress.
Qualifications:
Capital Engineering Services (CES) is an established contractor that provides multidisciplinary (i.e. Design, Building, Infrastructure, maintenance, MEP etc.) Engineering and Construction services.
