Maintenance Manager

Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans for mechanical equipment, including rolling mills, cutting machines, furnaces, conveyors, and other specialized machinery.

Supervision: Manage a team of mechanical maintenance technicians, assigning tasks, and ensuring that work is performed efficiently and safely.

Budget Management: Develop and manage the maintenance budget, controlling costs while ensuring the availability of necessary resources, spare parts, and tools.

Preventive Maintenance: Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime, extend the lifespan of equipment, and ensure efficient operation.

Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues, breakdowns, and equipment failures in a timely manner to minimize production disruptions.

Safety Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and best practices. Conduct safety training for maintenance staff.

Equipment Upgrades: Assess the need for equipment upgrades and modifications to improve efficiency, safety, and compliance with environmental standards.

Vendor Relations: Coordinate with equipment suppliers and external contractors for repairs, upgrades, and spare parts procurement.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and spare parts inventory.

Performance Monitoring: Utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the maintenance department and identify areas for improvement.

Emergency Response: Develop and implement emergency response procedures for mechanical breakdowns or accidents.

Continuous Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to improve maintenance processes and procedures, including the adoption of new technologies or best practices.
