We are currently seeking a dedicated IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers, troubleshooting network issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our network infrastructure. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of networking concepts.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues for internal employees or external clients.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software applications, and peripheral devices.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues via phone, email, remote assistance, or in person.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to resolve complex technical problems.
  • Ensure security measures are implemented and maintained to protect company data and systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as system updates, backups, and patches.
  • Document support processes, procedures, and solutions for knowledge sharing and future reference.
  • Train users on new technologies and software applications as needed.
  • Participate in IT projects and initiatives, such as system upgrades or migrations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in a technical support role, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and software applications.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts, protocols, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical users.
  • Customer-oriented attitude with a focus on delivering high-quality support.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) are a plus.
