QA Engineer

Autosoft is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our software applications through rigorous testing methodologies. With at least 2 years of experience in software quality assurance, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing manual testing strategies that meet both the functional and non-functional requirements of our products. You will oversee a team of 5 QA professionals, guiding them in their testing efforts and promoting best practices in quality assurance processes. Your expertise will be vital in identifying issues early, ensuring that our final products are reliable and meet user expectations. In this role, you will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage and high-quality deliverables. Your strong background in Software Quality Assurance (SQA) will allow you to tackle complex testing challenges, while your leadership will help foster a culture of excellence within your team. Responsibilities

Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on product specifications.
Conduct extensive manual testing to identify software defects and usability issues.
Lead a team of 5 QA professionals, providing mentorship and guidance to enhance their testing skills.
Review test processes and tools, recommending improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure quality benchmarks are met.
Document test results meticulously, providing clear and actionable feedback to developers.
Participate in product design discussions to ensure testability and quality considerations are integrated from the start.
Analyze root causes of defects and work with development teams to resolve issues promptly.
Provide regular status updates and reports on testing progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing.
