Reports to: Manager/Director of HR & Admin
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Manager of HR & Admin to support the HR & Admin team in ensuring the effective management of human resources and administrative functions. The successful candidate will assist in developing and implementing HR initiatives, managing employee relations, and overseeing administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
1. HR Operations: Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs.
2. Recruitment: Support the recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding.
3. Employee Relations: Assist in managing employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
4. Benefits Administration: Oversee the administration of employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
5. Payroll: Assist in the management of payroll, including processing payroll, managing payroll records, and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations.
6. Administrative Tasks: Oversee administrative tasks, including maintaining employee records, managing office supplies, and coordinating travel arrangements.
7. Compliance: Ensure compliance with HR-related laws, regulations, and company policies.
8. Reporting: Prepare and submit HR-related reports, including employee data, turnover rates, and other HR metrics.
9. Special Projects: Assist in special projects, including HR-related initiatives, employee engagement activities, and other projects as assigned.
10. Communication: Foster effective communication with employees, management, and external partners.
Requirements:
1. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in HR, preferably in a similar industry or sector.
3. Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with experience in HR operations, recruitment, and employee relations.
4. Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations, including employment laws, benefits administration, and payroll management.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Certifications: Certifications in HR is desirable.
2. Advanced degree: An advanced degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is advantageous.
3. Industry experience: Experience in a similar industry or sector, such as manufacturing, healthcare, or finance, is preferred.
