Job Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented Business Analyst with a background in quality assurance to support the development and implementation of software projects. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of business processes, and experience in software testing and QA methodologies. As a Business Analyst with QA experience, you will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure that deliverables meet quality standards and user expectations.


Responsibilities:



  1. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

  2. Translate business requirements into functional specifications, system designs, and test plans.

  3. Document and communicate requirements, specifications, and test cases to development teams and stakeholders.

  4. Conduct thorough testing of software applications, including functional testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

  5. Identify and document defects, issues, and deviations from requirements, and track them to resolution.

  6. Develop and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test data sets for automated and manual testing.

  7. Coordinate with development teams to prioritize and resolve defects and issues in a timely manner.

  8. Participate in Agile or Scrum ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.

  9. Provide regular status updates, reports, and metrics on testing progress, defect status, and QA findings.

  10. Collaborate with QA engineers, developers, and project managers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or a related field preferred.

  • 1 years of experience as a Business Analyst or QA Analyst in software development projects.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex business processes and technical systems.

  • Knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices, including manual and automated testing techniques.

  • Experience with testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, HP Quality Center, or similar.

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools for project management and collaboration.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness in documenting requirements and testing results.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies, tools, and processes.
