We are seeking an experienced and skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in refrigeration projects, manufacturing, and maintenance, with expertise in brazing. As a Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our refrigeration systems in various settings. This is a hands-on role that requires both technical knowledge and practical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations
- Perform regular maintenance checks to ensure optimal functioning of refrigeration equipment
- Diagnose and repair any malfunctions or issues that arise with refrigeration systems
- Conduct tests and inspections on refrigeration systems to identify potential problems and recommend solutions
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of refrigeration components and equipment
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective completion of projects
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work done on refrigeration systems
- Provide guidance and training to junior technicians and apprentices
- Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in refrigeration technology
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in refrigeration or a related field is an asset
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Refrigeration Technician, with experience in project, manufacturing, and maintenance
- Extensive knowledge of refrigeration systems and components, including compressors, evaporators, and condensers
- Proficiency in brazing and other welding techniques
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to refrigeration systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
