• Monitoring patient’s critical condition and assessing their needs to provide the best possible care and advice. Observe and do self assessment of patients.
  • Follow comprehensive nursing care plans for patients.
  • Adjust and administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders.
  • Observing and interpreting patient’s symptoms and communicating them to physicians/consultants.
  • Collaborating with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients.
  • Maintain complete and accurate patient records. Do proper chartings and documentation.
  • Supervise and train junior technicians and assistants/trainees
  • Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families
  • Expand knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences etc.
  • Completes appropriate documentation in accordance with hospital guidelines.
  • Adheres to all procedures related to infection control principles.
  • Provides assistance orienting to proper use and care of equipment and on location of supplies.
  • Identifies and responds promptly to patient needs, respecting dignity and privacy.
  • Provides and maintains a safe and orderly environment for patient care, i.e., side rails up, safe transport to other units.
