Key Responsibilities:

Process Optimization: Analyze and optimize existing manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.

Quality Control: Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure that all vehicles meet or exceed quality standards.

Assembly Line Design: Plan and optimize assembly lines, including layout design, sequence of assembly steps, and integration of automation and robotics.

Supplier Collaboration: Work closely with suppliers to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality components and materials, monitoring supplier performance and addressing issues as needed.

Lean Manufacturing: Implement lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste and streamline production processes.

Materials Selection: Collaborate in selecting appropriate materials for vehicle components to meet durability, safety, and cost-effectiveness goals.

New Technology Integration: Evaluate and integrate cutting-edge technologies to improve manufacturing processes and stay at the forefront of industry advancements.

Environmental and Safety Compliance: Ensure that manufacturing processes adhere to environmental regulations and safety standards, with a focus on sustainability and worker safety.

Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.

Continuous Improvement: Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence.

Project Management: Manage projects related to process improvements, technology integration, and facility enhancements, ensuring timely completion and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in automotive manufacturing engineering or a related role.
  • Proficiency in AUTO CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools.
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process optimization techniques.
  • Familiarity with automotive quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Project management experience is preferred.
