Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for driving sales growth, developing and executing sales strategies, and managing a team of sales representatives within a designated geographic region.
  • Grow strong relationships with key clients, analyzing market trends, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets and objectives.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve revenue and growth targets within the assigned region.
  • Identify and prioritize key market segments, customer profiles, and potential business opportunities.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Understand client needs, challenges, and objectives to provide tailored solutions and build long-lasting partnerships.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive activity to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Develop strategies to address any performance gaps and adjust tactics as necessary.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities within the region.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to adapt sales strategies and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
  • Collaborate with senior management to define regional sales goals and align strategies with overall company objectives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product development, and other teams to ensure alignment of strategies and goals.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to facilitate seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Train and mentor a high-performing team of sales representatives.
  • Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Motivate and inspire the sales team to achieve individual and collective goals.
  • Attend client meetings, presentations, and negotiations as needed.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for senior management.

Required Skillset:

  • Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market insights.
  • In-depth knowledge of sales techniques, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and sales analytics tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
  • Educational background in BS Electrical Engineering, B-Tech or DAE (Electrical).
  • Proven track record of success in sales management, with a minimum of 07 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in L.V switchgear products is preferred.
