We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Procurement Officer to join our dynamic team supporting U.S. Federal, State, and Local government contracts. The ideal candidate will have experience in sourcing subcontractors, proposal development, and contract management. This role requires strong organizational skills, a basic understanding of government contracting processes, and the ability to work collaboratively with international teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proposal Development:

    • Assist in creating, editing, and submitting comprehensive proposals for government contracts.
    • Ensure proposals comply with all government regulations and submission requirements.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to gather and validate necessary information to ensure the accuracy of proposals.
  • Subcontractor Sourcing:

    • Identify and evaluate potential subcontractors to meet project specifications and timelines.
    • Maintain communication channels with subcontractors to source cost-effective, high-value solutions.
    • Solicit and assess proposals from subcontractors, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Contract Management:

    • Help maintain and oversee existing contracts, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions.
    • Assist in managing contract modifications, changes in scope, and performance evaluations.
    • Support the implementation of improvements to enhance contract performance and ensure adherence to client requirements.
  • Firm Growth:

    • Assist in identifying new opportunities for contracts and sourcing new subcontractors.
    • Participate in the onboarding process for new subcontractors, ensuring compliance with company standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field (preferred).
  • 2-3 years of experience in government procurement and proposal writing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational, research, and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative international team.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and supplier relationship management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working with Federal, State, or Local government contracts.
  • Experience in the North American government procurement landscape.
  • Familiarity with contract management tools and industry-specific compliance standards.
  • Experience in sourcing and onboarding subcontractors.
