• Oversee the Inventory Management of Medical Store Items by ensuring adequate stock levels.
  • Evaluate Stocking Levels and plan your inventory levels as per the policy of the Hospital.
  • Initiate and process Stock Requisition Demands (SRDs) for Stock Procurement.
  • Ensure timely receiving/availability of Medical items and conduct a stock inspection as per prescribed Hospital Policy
  • Ensure all Receipt Vouchers (RVs) are created for stock received under Purchase Orders (POs) and forward related bills to the Concerned Departments for processing.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding, unpaid bills to ensure timely payments.
  • Prepare the Monthly Issuance / Consumption reports for all items issued to all departments from Main Stores Rawalpindi.
  • Conduct Monthly Cycle Counts to ensure inventory accuracy and integrity.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the Management Information System (MIS) for inventory control and internal stock management.
  • Analyze inventory consumption trends, identifying any unusual changes or variances and reporting them for further investigation.
  • Verify the accurate monthly closing of the inventory module to maintain up-to-date stock records.
  • Contribute to the preparation and review of the annual budget, ensuring appropriate stock levels and cost allocations.
  • Coordinate with the IT Department, Finance Department, Allied Hospitals, and other relevant departments to enhance system development and inventory management processes.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by management, ensuring seamless store operations.

This position ensures efficient inventory management, accurate stock tracking, and cross-departmental collaboration to maintain the integrity and functionality of the warehouse and inventory systems.

Qualifications:

  • MBA/BBA Supply Chain Management / Finance / or Pharmacist.
  • Specialized knowledge related to warehousing and inventory management in the Hospital Sector.
  • Hands-on Experience with Oracle Based Software i.e. ERP, SAP, etc…
  • Other skills required are IT skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), interpersonal, analytical, and communication. 
  • Professional Certification related to Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.
  • The experience required for this post is 5-7 years.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
