Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
1. Preparation of the organization’s financial processes and policies.
2. Responsible for the preparation, maintenance and monitoring of project budgets
3. Project financial accounts and project financial closing reports & records & variance analysis and project data analysis
4. Organisation’s policies, internal controls and system/process audits
5. Management accounts and reports to higher management and trustees
6. Responsible for effective and efficient cashflows of the organization
7. To work closely with the donation processing and accounts team to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner
8. Ensure compliance with donor reporting, programming quality and policies.
9. Thoroughly reconcile donation, payment gateways and bank, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
10. Ensure full record keeping of programme life cycle documentation including but not limited to: due diligence, project proposals, logical frameworks, budget documents, funding agreements, project reports, monitoring & evaluation report and audit reports
11. Ensure general policies and procedures across the organisation are developed and complied
