Short Description of Position

The Sales / Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining strategies and tools for effective marketing of the company’s services. S/he will be responsible for execution and monitoring of marketing and sales activities

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Marketing Strategy and Tools
  • Take part in the development of sales and marketing plan for the next five years.
  • Revise or adapt existing sales and marketing strategies and tools to support implementation of the sales and marketing plan.
  • Responsible for all company brand development issues.
  • Sales and Marketing
  • Responsible for hunting and acquiring of new clients as per planned targets. Sales marketing activities could be Door to Door, Online or other platforms
  • Network on different relevant platforms and ensure company brand and visibility is maintained
  • Occasionally assess incoming and over sea opportunities (companies and projects starting business in Ethiopia)
  • Customer Relationship
  • Responsible for bi-annual customer satisfaction survey and other ad-hoc customer engagements about their satisfaction on our services and seek areas for improvement.
  • Engage and coach the consulting team about customer handling.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive customer database.
  • Responsible for preparation of e-newsletter, social media and website information update to existing and potential clients.

Key working relationships

Internal

  • Reports to the General Manager
  • Communicates with all Staff.

External

  • Regularly communicates to over sea clients
  • Represent the company in different platforms,

Technical Competences

  • Advanced skills in basic and relevant computer application software
  • Education, work experience and language

Education

  • BA in Business Administration, Marketing and relevant fields
  • At least 4 years of hands on experience in marketing especially in the areas of FMCG
