Accountant

We are looking for a professional Accountant with 2 to 3 years of experience to handle a comprehensive range of accounting functions. Candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or ACCA partly qualified.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately identify and record financial transactions in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
Prepare and post journal entries for various transactions, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
Post journal entries to the general ledger, maintaining accurate and updated financial records.
Prepare and review the unadjusted trial balance report to ensure the accuracy of recorded transactions.
Develop and maintain worksheets to support the preparation of financial statements and ensure thorough documentation.
Identify and prepare necessary adjusting entries for accrued and deferred items to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Prepare and generate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in compliance with accounting standards.
Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring that all financial records are complete and accurate.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or ACCA partly qualified.
2 to 3 years of hands-on accounting experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Software experience like QuickBooks, Zoho and Odoo will be a plus.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Candidate must have their own laptop.

Salary: PKR 60,000 to 80,000 per month, based on qualifications and experience.
