Storyboard Artist

We are seeking a dedicated Storyboard Artist to join our dynamic team, The primary goal of this role is to create detailed and precise storyboards for our 3D animation team, helping bring to life a variety of comedic short films. The successful candidate will work directly under our 3D Animation Director and collaborate closely with project owners, stakeholders, and producers to ensure that storyboards align perfectly with our scripts and creative vision.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop highly detailed storyboards that clearly outline scenes, character movements, camera angles, and dialogues based on provided scripts, enabling animators to effectively visualize and execute projects.
Work closely with the 3D Animation Director and other team members to regularly review and refine storyboards, ensuring they meet the creative and technical requirements of the project.
Utilize storyboard-specific software such as Storyboard Pro or Adobe Animate to create engaging and accurate visual story representations.
Manage and prioritize storyboard creation to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, maintaining high-quality standards even under pressure.
Adapt quickly to feedback and make necessary revisions to storyboards as required by the animation director and other stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

At least two years of professional experience as a storyboard artist, or a degree in Art, Animation, or a related field, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
Proficiency in storyboard creation software, ideally Storyboard Pro or Adobe Animate; familiarity with Autodesk Maya is a plus but not required.
Ability to interpret scripts and creatively translate them into visual narratives that are easy for animators to follow.
Excellent communication skills, with the capability to effectively collaborate with a diverse team of creative professionals.
