As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer - GCP, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure and continuous integration/deployment pipelines. You will help drive the development of our cloud-native solutions while ensuring that our systems are reliable, scalable, and efficient. While expertise in GCP and CI/CD is required, some experience with Microsoft Azure will be beneficial for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain GCP-based cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
- Develop, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment of cloud-native applications.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
- Work with development teams to ensure smooth and efficient continuous integration and deployment workflows.
- Monitor and optimize the cloud infrastructure and CI/CD processes for efficiency and performance.
- Ensure best practices for security, reliability, and performance in the cloud environment.
- Work with Microsoft Azure for related cloud operations and integrations as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and hands-on experience in managing cloud infrastructure.
- Strong expertise in CI/CD tools and processes .
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud services and basic infrastructure management.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, performance optimization, and cost management.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in cloud environments.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a fintech or financial services environment.
- Certifications in GCP (e.g., Google Cloud Professional Architect) are a plus.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes (optional).
