We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide technical support and assistance to our clients and internal teams. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely or on-site, depending on our client requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripherals, both remotely and on-site.
  • Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud services.
  • Respond to IT support requests via phone, email, or ticketing system, and document resolutions in the knowledge base.
  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Conduct user training and onboarding for new employees, ensuring they are proficient with IT systems and tools.
  • Implement and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance and security.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical issues and provide comprehensive support.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in accordance with company policies.
  • Assist in the implementation and management of backup and disaster recovery plans.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in IT technology and recommend improvements to enhance support services.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT systems, configurations, and support procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and supporting Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with network configuration and management, including firewalls, routers, and switches.
  • Strong knowledge of IT security best practices and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise technical support to non-technical users.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple support requests simultaneously.
  • Experience with IT support ticketing systems and remote support tools.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) are a plus.
