Maintenance Incharge

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Maintenance In charge to join our team in the Building Materials industry. As the Maintenance In charge, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all maintenance activities of our facility, ensuring smooth operations and minimizing downtime. You will work closely with the maintenance team to identify and address maintenance issues, implement preventive measures, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

This role requires a hands-on approach, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance management, with a deep understanding of building materials and related equipment. You should also have strong leadership abilities, as you will be responsible for supervising a team of maintenance technicians and coordinating their tasks.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all maintenance activities, including repairs, routine maintenance, and equipment upgrades
Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime and increase machinery lifespan
Supervise and provide guidance to a team of maintenance technicians, scheduling their tasks and ensuring effective use of resources
Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify maintenance issues and develop solutions
Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or maintenance projects
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
Manage the maintenance budget and track expenses

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in the building materials industry
Strong knowledge of building materials and their specific maintenance requirements
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Strong leadership abilities, with good communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is a plus
