Officer Trade Operations

A Trade operations officer is responsible for all administrative functions, including trade operations, trade process improvement and efficiency, identification of discrepancies in trade documentation and addressing the risk of trade-based money laundering.

This includes the profiling of customers, maintaining MIS on transactions (e.g. on advance payments) and high-quality reporting of trade transactions.

Job Description

Ensure prompt, efficient and error-free processing of trade-related transactions in compliance with guidelines and policies governing e.g. SOP, International Banking Practices, and the Bank’s Own Policy.
Implement global compliance standards on Trade-based money laundering advisories and FATF recommendations through other units as well.
High level of trade finance processing skills, strong operational risk analysis skills, sound knowledge of trade finance products and current market trends with knowledge of UCP 600, FE Manual, URDG, URR, URC522, and applicable principles.
