Web & eCommerce Developers design, create, and modify websites
He/She is responsible for the technical aspects of an online store, such as its performance, scalability, and security.
Technical responsibilities, an eCommerce developer also often works closely with the store's owner or manager to ensure that the store meets their business needs.
Develop quality test variations utilizing JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS
Utilize a test driven development philosophy to build quality code base
Research & suggest emerging technologies with the goal of applying these technologies to current and future projects
Work closely with Project Managers for setting project priorities
Be effective and comfortable under minimum supervision
Develop in an Agile environment and be flexible under special circumstances
Be comfortable in learning new technologies and methodologies
Develop key creative experiences on the desktop and mobile e-commerce sites in accordance with the site refresh cadence
Collaborate on development and implementation of new interactive marketing experiences – microsites, lookbooks
Partner with web production team to scope and test interactive experience requests from the creative & marketing teams
