Counselor / Business Development Officer

UKEC is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented University Counsellor + Business Development professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and marketing a specific university, and will play a crucial role in enhancing its visibility and enrollment. This role combines traditional counseling with business development activities to achieve set targets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. University Promotion:

Promote and market a specific university to potential students and academic partners.
Develop a deep understanding of the university's programs, admission requirements, and unique selling points.
Effectively communicate the benefits of the university to prospective students and their parents.

2. Business Development:

Create and implement a business development strategy to increase the number of students enrolling in the university.
Identify and establish partnerships with educational institutions, agents, and relevant stakeholders.
Attend educational fairs, workshops, and other events to expand the reach of the university.

3. Counselling:

Provide personalized counseling to students and their families, guiding them through the university selection and application process.
Address inquiries and concerns, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in higher education and visa regulations.

4. Target-Driven:

Set and achieve enrollment targets, regularly reporting progress to the management.
Analyze data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and make data-driven decisions.

5. Networking:

Build and maintain relationships with local colleges, and educational agencies to promote the university.
Cultivate a network of industry contacts and influencers to facilitate referrals.

6. Language and Driving Skills:

Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with students, parents, and university representatives.
A valid driver's license and the ability to drive is required to travel to various locations as part of your business development activities.

Qualifications:

A Master's Degree is required
Previous experience in counseling, university admissions, or sales and marketing is preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Self-motivated and results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Flexibility in work hours and a willingness to travel.
Knowledge of the higher education industry and visa regulations is a plus.
