Full Stack Software Engineer

TradeMaster LLC, a pioneering startup specializing in rule-based trading executions, has recently launched a trading bot connected to Interactive Brokers (IBKR) as a subscription service. We are seeking a versatile and highly skilled Full-Stack Software Engineer to manage and enhance our trading platform as we scale. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our product.

Key Responsibilities:

Backend Development: Maintain and optimize our Flask-based backend code to ensure reliable and efficient rule-based trading executions.
API Integration: Manage and refine connections with third-party APIs, including IBKR, to maintain seamless execution and data integration.
Web Development: Improve the user-facing interface, ensuring an intuitive and responsive experience for our subscribers.
Cloud Infrastructure: Oversee and optimize our AWS server environment, ensuring it meets the demands of scalability, security, and availability.
Deployment & Maintenance: Lead the deployment process, address technical issues, and ensure the stability and performance of the platform.
Security: Implement and enforce security best practices to protect data and ensure the integrity of our web applications and cloud infrastructure.
Monitoring & Analytics: Establish monitoring tools to track platform performance and user engagement, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
Support: Provide technical support and address any user issues, enhancing the user experience based on feedback.

Required Skills:

Expertise in Python with experience in Flask.
Strong background in API development and integration.
Proficient in front-end web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure management.
Familiarity with database management (SQL or NoSQL).
Knowledge of security best practices for web applications and cloud services.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with rule-based trading platforms or financial services.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
