Estimation Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Estimation Engineer with experience in conducting detailed take-offs and performing price research for estimated items. Working under managerial direction, the ideal candidate will utilize various estimation software including but not limited to PlanSwift, to ensure accurate material evaluations. Strong communication skills and software proficiency are essential for this role. Candidates with U.S.-based estimation experience will be given preference.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive take-offs using industry-specific estimation software.
Perform market research to determine accurate pricing for estimated materials and labor.
Collaborate closely with management to refine estimation processes and cost projections.
Maintain accurate records of all data, take-offs, and pricing information.
Regularly update management on progress and findings for project estimates.

Qualifications:

Experience: Proven U.S.-based experience estimations.
Software: Proficiency in PlanSwift and or other estimation software.
Technical Requirements: Preference will be given to individuals with a laptop.
Communication: Excellent English-speaking skills, with a focus on clear, concise reporting.
Attention to Detail: Strong analytical and organizational skills for accurate take-off and estimation processes.

Preferences:

Candidates with demonstrated experience in U.S. based construction/engineering sectors.
Prior experience with remote estimation work and effective remote collaboration skills.
Engineering degree in Structural and or Civil Engineering.
