We are seeking a skilled and experienced male cook to join our team in Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare various meals, including local and international cuisine, following established recipes and guidelines.
- Manage food inventory, ensuring proper storage and rotation of ingredients to minimize waste.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety, adhering to local health and safety regulations.
- Manage and order supplies as needed, keeping within budget constraints.
- Develop new recipes and menu items, incorporating client feedback and dietary requirements.
- Assist in the training and supervising of junior kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to company standards and policies.
- Participate in daily meal planning and scheduling, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimal food waste.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained and functioning properly.
- Communicate effectively with clients, understanding and addressing their dietary needs and preferences.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a professional kitchen setting.
- Strong culinary skills, including knowledge of various cooking techniques and ingredients.
- Familiarity with local and international cuisine.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Fluency in English and/or Arabic (preferable).
- A valid food certificate or willingness to obtain one.
- Openness to learning and adapting to new culinary techniques and trends.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 24 months
Salary: Rs70,000.00 - Rs100,000.00 per month
