The GM Sales & IT Infrastructure is responsible for overseeing the sales strategy and operational excellence of the organization's IT infrastructure solutions. This leadership role combines technical expertise, strategic thinking, and sales acumen to drive revenue growth, ensure high customer satisfaction, and maintain the company’s competitive edge in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue and profitability targets.
  • Identify and target new business opportunities in IT infrastructure and technology services markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adjust sales strategies.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure solutions, including cloud computing, data centers, network architecture, and security solutions.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure infrastructure solutions.
  • Ensure alignment of IT infrastructure projects with business objectives and client requirements.
  • Build strategic partnerships with vendors, technology providers, and resellers.
  • Drive the development of customized IT solutions to meet client needs.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote offerings and generate leads.
  • Ensure operational efficiency across sales and IT service delivery.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to streamline processes.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction metrics and implement improvements as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or equivalent is preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in sales and IT infrastructure roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing large-scale IT infrastructure projects.

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of IT infrastructure solutions, including networking, cloud services, virtualization, cybersecurity, and enterprise systems.

Skills:

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Analytical and strategic problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficient in CRM, ERP, and sales analytics tools.

To handle this task, we get our engineers trained with our principals (OEMs) after the procurement of the machines. In addition to providing a prompt response to the customers, the services provided from our company helps our principals to avoid unnecessary on-site visits by their engineers, which at times can become quite expensive/ difficult especially due to insurance/security problems.
