Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update financial records, including journals, ledgers, and other accounting documentation.
  • Ensure accurate data entry and timely posting of transactions in the accounting system.
  • Process invoices and ensure timely payments to vendors and suppliers.
  • Manage accounts receivable by preparing and issuing invoices, tracking collections, and following up on overdue payments.

  • Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure that all financial transactions are accurately reflected in bank and company records.
  • Monitor company expenditures and ensure proper documentation and approval of expenses.
  • Assist in the preparation of budget reports and forecasts.
  • Prepare and submit tax filings such as VAT, income tax, or sales tax in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and tax authorities as needed.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Generate reports such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure that internal control policies are followed in day-to-day financial operations.
  • Identify areas for process improvements and implement changes where necessary.
  • Assist in internal and external audits by preparing necessary financial documentation.
  • Respond to audit inquiries and help ensure a smooth audit process.
  • Maintain and reconcile petty cash records and ensure proper disbursement of cash as per company policies.
  • Assist in payroll processing.
  • Handle any additional finance or administrative tasks as required by the management.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Tally) and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data and produce meaningful reports.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong accuracy and attention to detail in financial record-keeping and reporting.
  • Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.

In addition to providing a prompt response to the customers, the services provided from our company helps our principals to avoid unnecessary on-site visits by their engineers, which at times can become quite expensive/ difficult especially due to insurance/security problems.
