WordPress Developer

We are seeking a motivated Junior WordPress Developer to join our remote team on a part-time basis. As a Junior WordPress Developer, you will work closely with our senior developers to create engaging and functional websites for our clients. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about web development, eager to learn, and enjoys working in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the development and maintenance of WordPress websites.
Collaborate with senior developers to translate client requirements into technical solutions.
Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific needs.
Ensure responsiveness and optimization of websites for various devices.
Perform routine site updates, including content changes, plugin updates, and backups.
Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise with site functionality.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements:

Solid understanding of WordPress, including themes, plugins, and general site architecture.
Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, AJAX.
Basic knowledge of PHP and MySQL.
Experience with responsive and mobile design.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow design specifications.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
Proactive problem-solving abilities and willingness to learn new skills.
