This role is crucial for driving the development of knitted products from concept to market. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in product development, trend analysis, and pricing strategy, complemented by excellent communication skills. The Merchandiser Knits will conduct market research and data analysis to ensure the competitive positioning of our knitted products. This position does not involve managing a team, allowing the candidate to focus solely on merchandise development and market trends.
Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends and consumer preferences in knitted products.
Develop and analyze product concepts, ensuring they align with the latest market trends and customer demands.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design and production to create product briefs and timelines.
Negotiate pricing strategies and manage vendor relationships to achieve the best terms for knitted products.
Utilize Excel and other data analysis tools to evaluate pricing models and make informed recommendations.
Monitor product performance through metrics and sales data, adjusting strategies as necessary for optimal results.
Prepare detailed reports on market trends, product performance, and competitive analysis for internal stakeholders.
Assist in the development of promotional materials and product launches to maximize market reach.
Provide ongoing analysis of industry developments and consumer behavior to forecast future trends.
