Sales Officer are responsible for promoting and selling products or services to customers. Their primary goal is to meet or exceed sales targets while providing excellent customer service, building relationships, and representing the company in a professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales and Customer Engagement:

  • Greet customers and assess their needs to recommend suitable products or services.
  • Actively engage with prospective customers to generate leads and close sales.
  • Demonstrate and explain product features and benefits to encourage purchases.

2. Relationship Building:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.

3. Sales Targets and Reporting:

  • Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and objectives.
  • Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and updates to management.

4. Product Knowledge:

  • Stay updated on product specifications, pricing, promotions, and market trends.
  • Provide accurate information and advice to customers to build trust and credibility.

5. Operational Duties:

  • Process sales transactions, issue receipts, and handle payments accurately.
  • Maintain clean and organized sales displays and replenished stock as needed.

6. Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to support promotional activities.
  • Attend training sessions and meetings to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in sales or a customer-facing role.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Goal-oriented with a results-driven approach.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems.

Work Environment:

  • May involve standing for extended periods and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
