Key Responsibilities:
Teaching:
- Design, deliver, and assess undergraduate-level courses in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, including topics such as medicinal chemistry, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, drug metabolism, and analytical chemistry.
- Prepare and deliver lectures, conduct laboratory sessions, and supervise student projects.
- Develop and implement effective teaching methodologies.
- Assess student learning through exams, quizzes, assignments, and presentations.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students.
Research:
- Conduct research in relevant areas of pharmaceutical chemistry.
- Guide and mentor student research projects.
- Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals.
Curriculum Development:
- Contribute to the development and review of the Pharmaceutical Chemistry curriculum.
- Develop and update teaching materials, including lecture notes, laboratory manuals, and presentations.
Professional Development:
- Engage in continuous professional development activities, such as attending conferences, workshops, and seminars.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in pharmaceutical chemistry and related fields.
University Service:
- Participate in departmental and university-level committees and activities.
