Reports to: Order Taking Supervisor/Team Lead
Department: Sales
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, provide excellent customer service, and learn the order-taking process under the guidance of senior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Order Taking:
- Receive and process customer orders via phone, email, or in person.
- Accurately record order details, including products, quantities, and delivery information.
- Clarify customer requests and resolve order-related issues.
Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving concerns.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor.
Product Knowledge:
- Learn product offerings, features, and benefits.
- Stay updated on new products, promotions, and pricing.
Data Entry:
- Accurately enter orders into the database or order management system.
- Verify order information for accuracy.
Training and Development:
- Participate in training sessions to develop order-taking skills.
- Learn company policies, procedures, and software.
Requirements:
- FA Preferrably BA or equivalent.
- 0-1 year of customer service or order-taking experience.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with software applications.
- Excellent communication, listening, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with customer relationship management.
- Knowledge of sales management systems.
- Familiarity with order management processes.
- Familure with customer service or sales.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Physical Requirements:
- Work in an office environment.
- Sit for extended periods.
Working Hours:
- Standard business hours ( 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM).
- Extra sitting may be required during peak periods.
