Key Responsibilities:
Financial Record-Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, journals, and ledgers.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and procedures.
Accounting Operations:
- Assist in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Process invoices, payments, and journal entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate cash management.
Financial Analysis:
- Assist in preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and anomalies.
Compliance and Auditing:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
- Assist in internal audits and external audits.
Learning and Development:
- Participate in training programs to develop accounting skills.
- Learn accounting software, systems, and procedures.
- Stay updated on accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 0-2 years of accounting experience.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and laws.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Desirable Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience with financial analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with accounting standards.
- Knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Physical Requirements:
- Work in an office environment.
- Sit for extended periods.
- Occasional travel to attend training or meetings.
