Key Responsibilities:
Quality Management:
- Develop and maintain Quality Management System (QMS) certifications (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Establish quality objectives, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct internal audits and management reviews.
- Ensure continuous improvement and corrective actions.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and implement changes in regulations and standards.
- Maintain regulatory documentation and records.
Quality Assurance:
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes.
- Conduct risk assessments and mitigation plans.
- Ensure supplier quality management.
Quality Control:
- Develop and implement quality control processes.
- Conduct inspections, testing, and certification.
- Ensure defect prevention and reduction.
Training and Development:
- Develop and deliver quality training programs.
- Ensure employee awareness and understanding of quality policies.
- Foster a culture of quality excellence.
Customer Satisfaction:
- Monitor customer feedback and complaints.
- Implement corrective actions to improve customer satisfaction.
- Ensure timely resolution of customer issues.
Requirements:
- DAE or Bachelor's degree in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in quality management.
- Certification in quality management.
- Strong knowledge of quality standards and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in lean manufacturing or Six Sigma.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations (e.g., aerospace, automotive).
- Familiarity with quality software (e.g., QMS, CAPA).
- Certification in auditing (e.g., Lead Auditor).
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
- Occasional travel to suppliers or customer sites.
- Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods.
