Collaborate with the production manager and other departments to develop production plans based on demand forecasts, resource availability, and production capacity.
Create and maintain production schedules to optimize resources and meet production targets. Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes in demand or unforeseen circumstances.
Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations. Implement strategies to minimize carrying costs while ensuring product availability.
Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Identify opportunities for process improvement within the production planning and control functions. Implement best practices to enhance overall operational efficiency.
Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to production plans, schedules, and performance metrics. Ensure compliance with documentation standards and regulatory requirements.
