TORs: Research Associate
- Conduct thorough literature reviews and synthesize findings to support ongoing research projects.
- Design and implement data collection strategies using various methodologies such as surveys, interviews, field studies, and experiments.
- Perform rigorous quantitative and qualitative data analysis to extract actionable insights.
- Develop research proposals, including objectives, methodologies, and expected outcomes.
- Draft, edit, and review research reports, policy briefs, and academic papers.
- Ensure that all documentation meets the organization’s standards for quality and accuracy.
- Prepare presentations and materials for dissemination to various audiences.
- Summarize research findings into actionable recommendations and executive summaries.
- Support the design and delivery of training sessions and workshops aimed at building research capacity within the team and among partners.
- Assist in identifying funding opportunities and developing grant proposals.
- Collaborate with the team to secure funding for new and ongoing research initiatives.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to synthesize complex information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, as well as the Microsoft Office.
- Ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
