Position: Research Associate
Location: Islamabad
Report To: Research Manager

Responsibilities
The following tasks and responsibilities are expected from the Research Analyst. Research Functions:
- Coordinate with public and private, national, and international stakeholders for the development, analysis, and dissemination of different research interventions.
- Conducting meetings with donors on research plans and discussion of results.
- Conducting analysis on primary and secondary data
- Performing extensive literature review efficiently
- Development of research materials such as knowledge products, writing papers, infographics, and poster presentations for showcasing the work and research.
- Quantitative analysis of existing data/large database analysis using statistical software.
- Take lead on additional research required for ongoing research projects to complete the project and prepare it for publication.
- Refining the analytical framework of existing researches.
- Carry out the processing, cleaning, and analysis of quantitative data.
- Take part in result presentation development and attend project related events.
- Support dissemination activities for clients and other relevant stakeholders.
Writing:
- Participate in the development of materials for publication in journals and other locations.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in capacity building activities and undertake self-development.
- Participate in team management activities and use/maintain management systems, standards and tools as required.
- Any other tasks assigned by supervisor.
- Evaluation toolkit and leading quantitative checks on Third-party evaluations are secondary responsibilities.
Requirements:
Education:
- Master’s or Undergrad’s degree / Sixteen years in social sciences, Statistics, Economics/Econometrics, or a related field
Experience:
- Relevant work experience of at least 2 years, if Master’s then at least 1 year of experience.
- Proficient at STATA/R and willing to learn
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Command over written communication in English.
- Knowledge of various quantitative data analysis tools, data visualizations tools will be an added advantage.
- Ability in developing and designing research products.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver within tight deadlines with a strong focus to independently determine, balance and pursue competing priorities.
